Cutting or established plant?

What is a cutting?: A piece of a plant (stem, node or leaf) taken from a healthy mother plant, already rooted or ready to root. It is the cheapest way to start: the plant is young and needs a little patience while it settles in.
What is an established plant?: A plant that is already rooted and acclimatised, grown in a pot for several weeks or months. It picks its growth back up as soon as it reaches you — ideal if you want an immediate result.
Care tips: The nepenthes likes a moist substrate but never waterlogged. Standing water quickly causes root rot. Water as soon as the surface of the substrate starts to dry. Mist very regularly, daily in summer. Use only rainwater, osmosis water, or demineralized water, as limestone is very poorly tolerated. About every 3 years, repot the plant by renewing the substrate without changing the pot. It thrives best in a humid terrarium or paludarium.
